If you were dropped from a course you will receive an email within the next 24 hours from the schedule change that will inform you of how to return your book(s). Ebooks will automatically be returned and removed from your VitalSource bookshelf and you will not need to do anything with these. Any physical textbooks that may have been used for the class you were dropped from will process at EDMAP and you will receive an email with a list of books that need to be returned along with an attached shipping label. On the shipping label are the instructions on how to complete the return. All return labels are pre-paid and you will not need to pay to return any books.
Do I need to return them though if I plan on taking the class in the future? Yes. Books can change from quarter to quarter so it’s important to return any textbooks once you’ve been dropped from a course so that you’re able to order the correct book in the future. If you lose or sell the book and need it again in the future, you’ll be responsible for paying for the book again.
