When you're writing a research paper where you get to choose your topic, there are a few good places to get ideas.
Check out current events happening in the world right now. Scan the newspaper or look at news websites to get an idea. Check out the database Opposing Viewpoints for some great topic ideas.
Try to choose a topic that interests you! Then, take that idea and search in our general reference database, Credo. You'll find brief articles and definitions here that can get you to start thinking about your topic or narrow it down.
