Yes, you can!  This Video: http://support.ebsco.com/training/flash_videos/eBooks/ebooks_downloading/ebooks_downloading.html, explains the process.

Basically, you have to have Adobe Digital editions loaded onto your computer (free from http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/#fp) and the book will download to there.

From there, you can move it to a compatible device, such as a Nook or Sony E-Reader. But you have to have the device connected via USB to move it over. They are not currently compatible with Kindle.

There is a two-week checkout limit for eBooks.
