A good place to find information on a community would be to access State and County QuickFacts from the U.S. Census Bureau (Access site at http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/index.html). You can lookup communities by county or city name through this U.S. Census Bureau resource.

Stats Indiana is also a great resource for finding recent data on local counties, cities, and towns (Link: http://www.stats.indiana.edu/). Look for the "Profiles by Area" column on the left side of the webpage for further links and data on the state of Indiana and its counties.

The website www.infoplease.com contains information about the 50 states and certain cities that are located in each state. Click on "The Fifty States" option located on the far right side of the menu bar that runs across the screen for further information about each state. Users can also type the name of certain cities in the search box on the top right side of the screen.
