An article found inside a book can be cited like you would for an individual chapter of a book.  This would allow for the reader to both find the book and the article inside.

The format for citing an individual chapter is this:

Author's last name, First Initial. (Year). Title of book chapter. In First initial. Book Author/Editor Lastname (Ed.), Book title: Subtitle (pp. pages of book chapter). Location: Publisher.

(You will need to add the hanging indent.)

You can find an example and more information about it on the Library APA guide

Happy Citing!
