You can access your e-textbooks on your mobile device and offline (without an internet connection) by using the free Vitalsource Bookshelf app.

The first thing you want to do is make sure that you have an internet connection for the initial setup process.

Once you are connected, you can go to and select which version of the Vitalsource Bookshelf app you will need to download. (note: you can also get the app through the Google Play Store or the App Store)

The download should start automatically (see download instructions on Vitalsource page for more info). Once the app is downloaded, it should show up as an icon on your computer/mobile device screen.

Then, you will need to open the app and sign in. You want to sign in with your Harrison student email. (If you have trouble logging in, you can reset your password with the forgot your password link)

After signing in, the app will automatically sync to your e-textbook purchases and you will see them show up in your app screen. Select which e-textbooks you want to download by clicking the download button over the image of the e-textbook. Once the e-textbook is fully downloaded, it is ready for viewing.

By downloading your e-textbooks in the Vitalsource Bookshelf app, you can read your e-textbooks on the go and without an internet connection!
